This past weekend we celebrated the 2nd Annual Art04 Studio Tour, which highlights the studios + artists in the 78704 zip! I love welcoming new peeps into my studio/gallery space and had a blast seeing both familiar and new faces at the tour. The Art04 tour included studios located all throughout the 04 neighborhoods such as Zilker, Boudin Creek, South River City, Travis Heights, Barton Hills, South Lamar, Galindo, Dawson, and St. Edwards.
A bit on the origin of this '04-focused tour :

My art studio/gallery is on Thornton Road within the Thornton Road Business Park where I am accompanied by a multitude of fantastic local artisans of various crafts. Thornton Road Studios is the oldest artist community in ATX and I am honored to be a part of this wonderful group of creatives. For Art04, we all had our doors open and allowed the public to view our available artworks, see our natural habitats where the creative juices flow, & to simply hang out and have a good time on the first weekend of May.
