This will be my first year participating in the EAST Austin Studio Tour. Being that my studio is actually on the west side, I was fortunate enough to have been lent the space to show my work by Element 5 Architecture that has an office with in their borders.
Much preperation and countless hours have gone into this event. This is an opportunity for the self representing artist to shine and share the process of their craft. I love interacting with others that have an art appreciation, hearing their interpretations and thoughts of what my art invokes with in them is incredibly insightful and rewarding.
So far this has been a great experience and I am grateful to those that put all their energy into organizing it (over 400 artists)this could not have been an easy task.
