Pretty and Prickly

Pretty and Prickly  is a 16"x20" photographic print by Lisa Zinna on 1.5” thick wood panel, coated with hand- poured shiny resin. To add a touch of elegance, the base of the spines are delicately embellished with a subtle hint of silver glitter on top of the resin. The edges are white- washed.
 
The roundness of the prickly pear pads are echoed in the graceful arrangement of pink fruits that fan out like a royal crown. The background hue is derived from the pink in one of the fruits.
