I couldn't be more happy to be in my opinion a part of the most artist-centric gallery in town. Jake Bryer and Joel Ganucheau the founders of Austin Art Garage, are artists themselves and set out to create a comfortable space to spotlight and expose Austin's visual art talent to the community and have been succeeding at it since 2005.
I love how relaxed the vibes are in the gallery, you won't find pretentiousness that often comes along with white box galleries. Here they make sure to have offerings at every budget. I am a firm believer in "art is for everyone", this is why I am happy to take payment plans in order to accommodate my collectors who are gracious enough to shop local and want something made from the heart. Taylor is the raddest gallerista I know and is a gem to work with! Tell her I said "Hello!" when you should you pay the gallery a visit.
The gallery is less than a mile from my art studio, so it's easy to hop over and drop off replenishments during my work day (hence the apron and studio clothes). Definitely check out this fantastic gallery here in Austin and get something special for yourself and keep Austin Creating!
